Philosophy is the study of questions of existence, metaphysics, knowledge and the meanings of other fundamental questions. Approached analytically, these questions are broken down into branches of Aesthetics, Ethics, Epistemology, Metaphysics and Logic. With origins dating back over 2500 years, Philosophy has its roots in all geographic regions in the world. As an overarching study of logic, mathematics, political science and other subfields, philosophy requires preparation through a variety of multidisciplinary subjects.
