AP Courses
AP Calculus
The AP Calculus Exam comes in two separate formats depending on the course in which you are enrolled. The AP Calculus AB exam covers the fundamentals of derivatives, limits, and integrals, while the AP Calculus BC exam covers the same basics but with some additional concepts.
AP Computer Science
The AP Computer Science A exam consists of material usually covered in the first semester of a college computer science course. Students planning to take the exam are usually interested in pursuing a degree in computer science or receiving college credit in computer science courses. Based on Java, this course introduces students to the object-oriented programming (OOP) methodology.
AP Statistics
Statistics is a discipline that concerns the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. Historically detected by Eastern mathematicians and cryptographers, statistics made its way to Europe in the 17th century, where it broadened to include the collection and analysis of data in general.
AP Biology
The AP Biology exam consists of the full range of topics covered in a student’s high school biology and chemistry curriculums. While the College Board recommends that students pass standard biology and chemistry courses before taking the class, these prerequisites are not universally required and vary from school to school.
AP Chemistry
The AP Chemistry exam covers the majority of introductory chemistry concepts, with the exception of organic chemistry. Students who take the exam are usually interested in studying chemical and physical sciences in university or looking to earn college credit for science prerequisites.

AP English Language and Composition

Students will learn close reading, writing evidence-based arguments and revising different pieces of writing.
AP English Literature and Composition
The AP English Literature and Composition course is the second part of the AP English series in one’s high school career. It tests a student’s ability to analyze texts and develop written arguments based on text interpretation. This course draws from skills learnt in AP English Language but extends them into more advanced paradigms. Furthermore, it introduces a more diverse array of literature.
AP US Government and Politics
The AP United States Government and Politics course examines the structure and function of each institution in the US political system. Aside from studying concepts, students in this course are expected to analyze political data, develop thesis statements for essays, explain the implications of certain court cases on the U.S. political system and make connections beyond those provided in the text.
AP US History
The AP U.S. History course is designed to introduce high school students to similar history topics as would be found in a university U.S. History course. Topics include developments in the United States from the Founding Fathers to the contemporary period. The course covers social, economic, political and cultural developments that shaped the nation.

Macroeconomics is a branch of economics that studies the overall structure, nature, and performance of a national economy, as well as the major players that make it work. The AP Macroeconomics exam is usually taken either in conjunction or after the AP Microeconomics exam.
